Sportsplex USA offers positive and exciting youth baseball clinics for boys and girls ages 6 to 8.
In our program every player is a winner! We believe playing, learning, and having fun with baseball are most important. Our trained and energetic coaches and instructors introduce skills in a fun and progressive manner. Constant encouragement and enthusiasitic coaching build confidence and self-esteem. The clincis will focus on the fundamentals of baseball which include; Batting, Catching, Throwing, Fielding positions and technique, and base running.
The lead instructor is Matt Smith. Matt began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Texas Tech University in the fall of 1993. He has coached professionally with Evansville of the Frontier League and internationally for the United States, Mexico and Ecuador. Matt has been field manager for international baseball championships in Canada, United States, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, México, Puerto Rico, Panama and Ecuador. He has worked in player development for ABD Academy, Police Athletic League, Florida Developmental League, Puget Sound Collegiate League and Sportsplex USA.

SESSION DAYS : Mondays
Sessions include only one clinic per week.
6 to 8 Years - 3:30pm - 5:00pm
Attendance at the first clinic is mandatory! During the first session (Assessment Day), parents will receive orientation to program, children will be evaluated on base skills to be formed on teams, and special requests and jersey sizes will be taken.
Rainouts will be rescheduled
End of season party includes - Game, Individual Awards and Pizza Party provided by Sportsplex USA!
DEADLINE TO REGISTER:
$99 per player
$109 per player if registered after deadline
Children should wear athletic shoes (cleats are not required) and comfortable clothing. Jersey will be provided. All players should have youth baseball mitt. Bats and balls will be provided. Players may bring their own baseball bat, helmet and warm up balls. All children will be required to wear batting helmet when batting. Parents are strongly encouraged to volunteer as Assistant Coaches. Clinic is facilitated by professional instructor, however, parents are encouraged to be involved during drill sessions and to work with child on skills at home.
